Adventures and Anachronism

Yesterday, I did something that I never, ever thought I would do.

I was a model. In a REAL fashion show.

No, seriously. I was.

Mayfaire Moon  is a wonderful custom corset shop that needed models for a runway walk at Webster Hall's Anachronism event last night. My good friend of many years put out a call for help. I volunteered.

I'm not an "on stage" kind of person. I'm backstage. I'm in the rafters. I'm behind the lens.

Not this time.

See? That's me! In a corset! Also, it needs to be noted - I am not that thin nor tall. The photo is stretched out in some way. Whatever, I looked AMAZING.

I got dressed up fancy. I challenged myself. I took myself way out of my comfort zone.

You know what? The world didn't end. Not even ONE piece of the sky fell down. More importantly, though, is one little thing.

I. HAD. FUN.
